The Method

The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology is a radical, innovative, experiential process designed to enhance business performance. It is based on the belief that everyone can contribute to the discussion, the decisions and the outcome.
The use of LEGO® elements enables you to take a speedy shortcut to the core.

The LEGO elements work as a catalyst – and when used for building metaphors, they trigger processes that you probably were previously unaware of.
Workshop participants leave with skills to communicate more effectively, to engage their imagination more readily, and to approach their work with increased confidence, commitment and insight.
Core concepts of our LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® workshops are: Decision Making, Negotiation, Trust and Delegation, Innovation, Perspective and character types and learning styles.

About The Workshop

This workshop is designed based on LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology to foster team building technics in organizations.

Using LEGO® elements will engage everyone from any age group and challenges them to win the game.

The main focus of this game is on resilience and innovation

1. Preparation

  • Forming Groups
  • Distributing tools
  • Setting up laptop and projector

2. Greeting and Introduction (10 min)

  • Introducing the workshop by client to team members
  • Introducing Creative Partner team

3. XY Game (45 min)

  • Introducing game rules and playing the game
  • This game has been designed with an attractive method to create deep understanding of team and team working. Participants will be divided into groups and compete with other teams
  • Each team must make tough decisions during the game to achieve higher score and in the end, everybody will learn that “Together Everyone Achieves More”!

4. Wrap Up (15 min)

  • Finalizing the result

5. Different Perspectives in Team (20 min)

  • Next, every team should make a model with LEGO® 2000417 to demonstrate different perspectives of a same subject and discuss about it. As a result, participants will acknowledge different perspectives of different team members and they will learn to see these differences as an opportunity instead of a threat

6. Optional Questionnaire (15 min)

  • ّinally, on client’s request, we can run a survey to measure the current status of team working in client company.

7. Final Words (15 min)

  • Summarizing the workshop and discussing conclusions on team working and innovation

Despite the fact that Creative Partner is known as a management consulting company, we are trying to create a new definition for management consulting.
