Innovation

People who want to become a pilot will not be allowed to use the aircraft after learning the principles and rules of flight as aircraft is an expensive asset for airlines. So these companies are not allowed to fly unless the trainee is able to use it without damaging himself and the plane. The flight simulator is a bridge between written principles and a real airplane.

Simulators provide the space for the learner to make the decision, in addition to experiencing what can happen in the real world, and to see the outcome of their decisions and gain a near-real experience without damaging the plane or the trainee. You may not know how valuable your time and self-confidence are; they are so valuable that you’ll eventually have a chance or two in your lifetime to launch a startup. But, if you still have the confidence after the first failure. Experience has shown that new ideas are very exciting when they come to people’s minds – at first – and process usually get started without any preparation, the reason why 90% to 95% of startups are failing world wide. Innovation workshop offers the following categories:

  • Leanrning Systematic Creativity
  • Lean Startup
  • Lean Canvas

Validated learning is not after-the-fact rationalization or a good story designed to hide failure. It is a rigorous method for demonstrating progress when one is embedded in the soil of extreme uncertainty in which startups grow.

Validated learning is the process of demonstrating empirically that a team have discovered valuable truths about a startup present and future business prospects. It is more concrete, more accurate, and faster than market forecasting or classical business planning.

Learning is the essential unit of progress for startups. The effort that is not absolutely necessary for learning what customers want can be eliminated. This is validated learning, because it is always demonstrated by positive improvements in startup’s core metrics.

Validated learning is backed up by empirical data collected from real customers. The way forward is to learn to see every startup in any industry as a grand experiment. The question is not “can this product be built?” but “can this product be built?” and “can we build a sustainable business around this set of products and services.”

Your job is to find a synthesis between your vision and what customers would accept; it wasn’t to capitulate to what customers thought they wanted or to tell customers what they ought to want.

True startup productivity: systematically figuring out the right things to build. In the lean startup, every product, every feature, every marketing campaign – everything a startup does – is understood to be an experiment designed to achieve validated learning.

Lean thinking: Lean thinking defines value as providing benefit to the customer, anything else is waste. In a manufacturing business, customers don’t care how the product is assembled, only that it works correctly. But in a startup, who the customer is and what the customer might find valuable are unknown, part of the very uncertainty that is an essential part of the definition of a startup.

A startup company designed the game in 2012, which it taught participants all the important topics and headlines in the process during the game. Using learning through playing approach, the company has developed a model in which participants become increasingly involved with the subject and see difficulties in decision making in a real environment.
The worst thing that can happen to the participants in this model is a humiliating failure by their colleagues, which is certainly a deep learning.
Playing Lean is our flight simulator for launching startups. It teaches the basics of Lean Startup with a very strong model and illustrates the importance of each step. These steps are listed as the 4 headlines below:
1. Business Model
2. Problem Matching
3. Product / Market Adaptation
4. Presentation and Expansion

After teaching these principles in a highly competitive environment, teams will learn the basics of designing their business model to move on to the next step. Here we suggest a Lean Canvas Business Model workshop designed with LEGO SERIOUS PLAY game approach. The workshop documents the entrepreneurial ideas of the teams in a very sophisticated way, and forms the blueprint for moving to a new product or service in the organization.

One of the major points is to precisely identify the steps that need to be taken from the beginning until the final goal is reached.

The Playing Lean and Lean Canvas Business Model workshops are modeled on the most up-to-date content running today to start and track startups. We have taken the content from The Lean Startup book by Eric Ries, who won the Best Business Education Game of the Year in Ireland, 2017.

This workshop is designed and tailored to focus on the organization’s innovation, provide a comprehensive business model and make the business model operational.

It is based on the belief that everyone can contribute to the discussion, the decisions and the outcome. The use of LEGO elements enables you to take a speedy shortcut to the core.
The LEGO elements work as a catalyst – and when used for building metaphors, they trigger processes that you probably were previously unaware of.

It is difficult to explain how LSP methods can be a conversation tool on a highly specialized topic, even very detailed explanations usually make the audience miss-understand the topic and the ambiguity remains in the mind. The only way to understand it, is to experience it.

The first question that comes to mind is how to answer the questions by building complex and abstract concepts. Our method is based on the metaphorical use of LEGO breaks, meaning that each structure is what the creator attributes it to.

CP offers and designs workshops based on client’s needs and workshop participants leave with skills to communicate more effectively, to engage their imagination more readily, and to approach their work with increased confidence, commitment and insight.

LSP emphasizing the three fundamental principles of our workshops. These three principles are as follows:

1. The solution to your organization’s problem is within your organization The Creative Designers of LSP believed that the best people to solve the real problems of an organization are the employees and managers.

2. There are various ways to solve a problem If we believe that the problem of our organization can be solved with different solutions then we will come to a modest view that will allow us to express different ideas and creativity in the organization.

3. The only way to reach the final solutions is an efective dialogue LSP provides the equal opportunity and time to employees and managers to express opinions and make decisions.

Step one – Goal Determination
LSP workshops will help organizations in a variety of situations and recognizing this conflicts is based on managers and decision makers.

Step two – Workshop Design
Once the topic of the workshop has been precisely identified, the number of participants, the working space, the time of the workshop and other details of the workshop design phase will begin. The facilitator designs a unique model using a variety of techniques for the specific subject. In fact, the design of the workshop is asset of questions that will lead to the final solutions.

Step three – Facilitation
Implementation area is very important We want to extract the best answer to a problem from the structure of our participants. They must remain in peace during the workshop.

Mohamad Mahdi Afshar Azad – CP Founder – is a certified LEGO SERIOUS PLAY facilitator and workshop designer, therefore LEGO games and elements are integral part of every activity in the company.
